Armenian communists support accession to EEU
The Communist Party of Armenia believes that the Armenian people’s future is linked with membership in the Eurasian Economic Union, party’s secretary, Tachat Sargsyan, told reporters on Friday.
“I have no doubt that our country will become prosperous after joining the union,” he said.
Asked whether the Communist Party will take part in the January 20 conference initiated by Prosperous Armenia leader Gagik Tsarukyan, Sargsyan replied that they have not received an invitation to attend the event, but if they are invited, they will discuss the issue and then say what they think about it.
