Several motorways are barely passable in Armenia
Spitak curves, Gyumri-Bavra, Artik-Mantash, Gyumri-Ashotsk, Gyumri-Amasia and Sotk-Karvachar motorways were barely passable as of 10:00 am on Thursday, Armenia’s Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations reported.
Vardenyats mountain pass is impassable due to snowstorm.
There is ice crust on Hrazdan-Sevan-Martuni and Artik-Maralik roads.
Snowfall is reported in Aragatsotn, Ararat, Armavir, Lori, in Ashotsk village of Shirak province, Dilijan, Ijevan, Berd cities of Tavush province, Kapan city of Syunik province and Hrazdan, Abovyan cities of Kotayk province.
Road cleaning is underway.
