NKR Defense Ministry: Tension eases at Line of Contact
On January 4-10, Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire about 2,500 times at the Line of Contact between Karabakh and Azerbaijani troops, with over 25,000 shots fired at Karabakh frontline positions from guns of various calibers, including 60-mm and 82-mm mortars and RPG-7, GP-25 and AGS-17 grenade launchers.
Tension has eased at the Line of Contact as compared with the past few days, according to the press service of the Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Ministry.
NKR Defense Army’s forces took adequate response actions and the necessary measures to defend the frontline positions.
