Russian military base in Gyumri issues statement
Colonel Alexey Palyukhovich, a representative of the 102nd Russian military base stationed in Gyumri, made a statement on Thursday.
“We are shocked by what has happened. We mourn together with the Armenian people and share your pain. The person who committed such a crime has no nationality. I announce and assure all of you that he will be punished with utmost severity. Currently, Armenian and Russian law enforcers together conduct an objective and comprehensive investigation into this inhuman case. Only together, shoulder to shoulder, we can overcome any difficulty,” said the statement, published on tsayg.am.
