Haykakan Zhamanak: Gevorg Kostanyan petitions to Russian Prosecutor General
Citing well-informed sources, Haykakan Zhamanak writes that Armenian Prosecutor General Gevorg Kostanyan has petitioned to Russian Prosecutor General Yuri Chaika asking to give an opportunity to Armenia’s Investigative Committee to interrogate Valery Permyakov. As of yesterday, Armenian investigative bodies had no possibility to interrogate Permyakov or even see him.
The Armenian Investigative Committee’s department on the investigation of cases of special importance conducts the case of the January 12 slaughter in Gyumri. An investigative group of representatives of the Investigative Committee’s department on the investigation of cases of special importance and Shirak regional department of investigation has been set up.
