Haykakan Zhamanak: SRC to be separated from Finance Ministry?
There are talks in the government corridors about dividing the Ministry of Finance. The talks say that not only the State Revenue Committee (SRC) must be removed from the Ministry of Finance, but also the Tax Inspectorate and the Customs Service must be separated, Haykakan Zhamanak writes.
“The Ministry of Finance was created last year and the State Revenue Committee, which included the Tax Inspectorate and the Customs Service, was joined with the Ministry. Some say this organization has created an imbalance in the government,” the newspaper notes.
