Azerbaijan attempts subversive raid in Tavush
The situation on Armenia-Azerbaijan border has worsened.
Artsrun Hovhannisyan, a spokesman for the Armenian Defense Ministry, told Panorama.am that Azerbaijani forces were active last night. They fired about 200 shots towards the Armenian frontline positions in Tavush province.
According to the spokesman, the enemy attempted a subversive raid. But the Azerbaijani forces were thrown back by the Armenian troops. There are no casualties on the Armenian side.
As reported on Wednesday, Armenian contract serviceman Arman Udumyan, 35, was killed by Azerbaijani fire in Tavush section of Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
