Azerbaijani special units attack Armenian positions; Two Armenian soldiers killed
Azerbaijan continues destabilizing the border situation. The enemy continues subversive raids and attacks in various sections of its border with Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh, Artsrun Hovhannisyan, a spokesman for the Armenian Defense Ministry, wrote on Facebook.
“Over 300 ceasefire violations by the Azerbaijani side were registered last night. At around 9:00 am today, Azerbaijani special units attacked several military positions in Berd, Tavush province. Armenian forces detected the enemy in time. Fighting took place. It lasted about 30 minutes.
“Suffering casualties, the enemy was thrown back. Unfortunately, two Armenian servicemen were killed and there are also injured. Lieutenant Karen Galstyan and private Artak Sargsyan were killed,” the spokesman wrote.
