Hovhannisyan: Situation on borders of Armenia and Karabakh remains tense
“The situation remains tense on the borders of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh. The enemy suffers losses but does not reckon with them,” Artsrun Hovhannisyan, a spokesman for the Armenian Defense Ministry, wrote on Facebook.
“The Armenian side’s actions will be more ruthless and their consequences cannot be concealed by any restrictions,” wrote the spokesman.
As reported earlier, at around 9:00 am today, Azerbaijani special units attacked several military positions in Berd, Tavush province. Armenian forces detected the enemy in time. Fighting took place. It lasted about 30 minutes. Suffering casualties, the enemy was thrown back. Two Armenian servicemen were killed and there are also injured.
