Armenian Defense Ministry: Azerbaijan violates ceasefire 86 times
The frequency of the ceasefire violations by Azerbaijan on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border has declined compared to the previous days, the press service of the Armenian Defense Ministry said.
Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire 86 times on Armenia-Azerbaijan state border on January 23-24. Over 600 shots were fired at Armenian frontline positions from weapons of different calibers.
Armenian forces took response actions only in cases of extreme necessity and confidently controlled the military positions.
The Armenian side returned the fire 11 times, with a total of 178 shots fired.
