James Appathurai: NATO supports efforts of OSCE Minsk Group
"I do not think NATO’s role can help the progress of process, but NATO supports the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group to resolve the conflict," NATO Secretary General's Special Representative for the South Caucasus and Central Asia James Appathurai told the Azerbaijani news agency "Trend", adding that in his opinion, NATO has no role in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
As noted in the article, the special representative said that the Nagorno Karabakh conflict is shown an international attention at the highest level, especially considering that recently the President of France Francois Hollande held talks with Armenia and Azerbaijan.
According to the Special Representative within the two decades the negotiations constantly were attended by the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs of the United States, France and Russia.
