Traders stage another protest against turnover tax law
Representatives of small and medium businesses have again gathered outside the government. They are protesting against the amendment to the Law on Turnover Tax that will take effect on February 1.
On November 11, 2014 the Armenian parliament adopted in the first reading draft amendments to the Law on Turnover Tax, under which the turnover tax for business entities in trade will be reduced from 3.5% to 1%, but document circulation is mandatory.
The protesters demand revocation of the amendment.
