Armenian Prime Minister receives protesting traders
Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received on Friday a group of businessmen who have been staging protests against the law on turnover tax, the press service of the government reported.
The Prime Minister said that the government wants small and medium businesses to operate normally and contribute to economic development. He stressed that the government will not take any steps which do not stem from society’s interests.
The traders proposed that the law be applied on a voluntary basis. The Prime Minister said all the proposals will be closely examined.
