UEFA Euro-2017 U-21 qualifying round draw takes place
UEFA Euro-2017 U-21 qualifying round draw took place on February 5 in UEFA headquarters, in Nyon, Switzerland. Armenian U-21 will face Denmark, Romania, Wales, Bulgaria and Luxembourg in Group E, the official website of the Football Federation of Armenia reported.
The 52 entrants were drawn into nine groups – seven sections of six teams and two of five. The nine group winners will qualify automatically for the 2017 finals in Poland. The four runners-up with the best records against the teams first, third, fourth and fifth in their group will go into the play-offs and be drawn into two ties to decide the last two qualifiers for the expanded 12-country finals.
The schedule of Armenian U-21 matches will be fixed a little bit later.
