Kremlin confirms Putin's meeting with Merkel, Hollande on Ukraine Friday
The leaders of Russia, Germany and France will meet in Moscow on Friday to discuss steps to stop the civil war in Ukraine, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Thursday.
“I confirm that there are planned talks for tomorrow between [Russian President Vladimir] Putin, [German Chancellor Angela] Merkel, and [French President Francois] Hollande, during which the heads of the three states will discuss what the three states can do concretely in order to bring an end to the civil war in eastern Ukraine, which has considerably worsened over the last few days and has brought about numerous victims,” Peskov told RIA Novosti, Sputnik News reported.
