Protest in support of Artak Khachatryan staged in Yerevan
A protest took place in Yerevan on Monday, with the participants demanding that those who used violence against civil activist, member of Prosperous Armenia Party’s political council Artak Khachatryan be found and punished.
The protest started outside the government and continued near the police building.
Prosperous Armenia MPs Vartan Oskanian, Vahan Babayan, Vahe Enfiajyan and Naira Zohrabyan were among the protesters.
As was reported, Armenia’s Investigative Committee launched a criminal case based on information that on the afternoon of February 7 a group of people abducted Artak Khachatryan by using violence.
