Armenian chess players at Moscow Open
Armenian GM Tigran L. Petrosian scored 7 points out of 9 and shared 2nd-5th places among 244 participants at the main tournament of Moscow Open Festival. Petrosian took 4th place with additional points. GM Ernesto Inarkiev (Russia) became the winner with 8 points.
GM Samvel Ter-Sahakyan had an excellent performance at the Student round-robin tournament of the festival. He scored 6 points out of 9 and solely took first prize.
FM Sargis V. Manukyan scored 7.5 points out of 9 and shared 2nd-4th places among 326 participants at the amateur tournament that was also held as part of the festival. Manukyan took 3rd place with additional points. Sergey Galakhov (Russia) became the winner with 8.5 points, armchess.am reported.
