Haykakan Zhamanak: Government may reject Eurobonds
The Armenian government may give up the plans of attracting foreign debts through Eurobonds as such a debt may become too expensive, Haykakan Zhamanak reports, citing sources.
“Last week the government made a decision to start the process of attracting foreign resources through the sale of Eurobonds, and selected the companies to organize the process. Meanwhile, international rating agencies downgraded Armenia’s ratings, which means that the interest rate of the debts will increase sharply,” the newspaper says.
