Parliament staff to study MPs’ absences from sessions – Galust Sahakyan
At a press conference on Monday, Armenian National Assembly Speaker Galust Sahakyan spoke about stripping Prosperous Armenia leader Gagik Tsarukyan of his parliamentary mandate. He said that the parliament staff will study not only Tsarukyan’s absences from parliament sessions, but also the absences of other MPs.
“We will inform you about the results when the studies are completed,” he said.
The parliament chief stressed that this is not a political persecution, adding that together with his political team he did everything to prevent tension during the previous parliament sessions, but this was to end one day.
