Arzumanyan: Withdrawal of Armenian-Turkish protocols was logical
The Armenian President’s decision to recall the Armenian-Turkish protocols from parliament was the logical continuation of Serzh Sargsyan’s statement made from the rostrum of the UN General Assembly, MP Alexander Arzumanyan told reporters on Tuesday.
“This recorded the fact that Armenia did everything possible on the way to normalization,” said the parliamentarian.
“Turkey continues blockade of Armenia and these developments, in particular the withdrawal of the Armenian-Turkish protocols from parliament may also be related to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide,” he added.
