Why Prosperous Armenia cancelled rally?
Prosperous Armenia Party spokesman Tigran Urikhanyan has refuted the rumors that party’s leader Gagik Tsarukyan intends to renounce his parliamentary mandate and quit politics.
“It is a lie,” he told a Panorama.am correspondent.
Regarding the information about the meeting of President Serzh Sargsyan and Prosperous Armenia leader Gagik Tsarukyan and their reconciliation, the spokesman said, “The authorities must try to find a way to reconcile with the people.”
Asked why Prosperous Armenia decided to cancel the rally scheduled for February 20, Urikhanyan said, “We decided so in order to avoid bloodshed.”
