168 Hours: Gas prices will rise?
Speaking to 168 Hours newspaper, Gazprom Armenia CEO Vardan Harutyunyan expressed concern that the rise of currency exchange rate may affect the prices of natural gas. He said that the company purchases gas at an exchange rate of 416.56 drams per one dollar.
“Our specialists conduct daily monitoring and make analyses concerning the impact of the exchange rate on the company’s financial-economic activities in case of possible developments,” he said, adding that the public will be informed about the conclusion the company will reach based on analysis and they do everything possible to avoid rise of the tariffs.
