NATO to install new units in Europe amid 'competition with Russia' – chief
The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) will install new integration units in each of the alliance’s eastern states amid "constant competition with Russia," NATO’s military chief in Europe Gen Sir Adrian Bradshaw said Friday, Sputnik reported.
“We will shortly begin building NATO force integration units in each of the eastern states,” Bradshaw said speaking in London.
Bradshaw added that the units will support the alliance’s eastern states in a period of “constant competition with Russia.”
The units will also facilitate the deployment of NATO forces if required, while helping sustain “multinational NATO presence” on the territories of the alliance’s eastern states.
