Hristea: Scope of Armenia-EU relations to be clarified in 2015
This year is significant in terms of Armenia-European Union relations, Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Traian Hristea said at the conference on the prospects of cooperation between Armenia and the European Union in the current political context. He explained that the scope and future of Armenia-EU relations will be clarified this year.
In his words, Armenia and the European Union work on new legal scope of cooperation.
Mr Hristea noted that the EU aims to encourage involvement of civil society in the establishment of further bilateral relations between the EU and Armenia.
“The European Union is planning long-term relations with Armenia. The sides have the political will,” he added.
