Chorrord Ishkhanutyun: Prosperous Armenia split into two parts
Two options of the party’s future are currently under discussion in Prosperous Armenia Party: one suggests dissolving the party and the other suggests turning Prosperous Armenia into a small elite party that will have no serious political ambitions. The party is now split into two parts and the dispute is about whether or not to maintain the party, Chorrord Ishkhanutyun reports.
According to the newspaper, Prosperous Armenia leader Gagik Tsarukyan is planning to resign from his position. Moreover, he has decided to stop financing the party.
“This means that Prosperous Armenia will have no funding and unless the party dissolves, it will continue working with minimum funds,” the newspaper notes.
