Temperatures to be above norm in March – meteorologist
The weather expected in the coming days does not pose risks for farming, Zaruhi Petrosyan, head of the Meteorological Forecasts Department at the Armenian Meteorological Service, told reporters on Thursday.
In March, temperatures will be above the climatic norm by 1-2 degrees and in the first 10 days of March, the precipitation quantity will also be above the norm, according to the specialist.
Precipitation is not expected in the coming two days. Temperatures will rise by 1-3 degrees on February 28, she said.
“On February 25, maximum temperatures in the Ararat Valley were 11-12 degrees, on February 28, they will rise to 14-15 degrees and from March 1, temperatures will begin falling,” Mrs Petrosyan added.
