Tension increases on borders of Armenia and Artsakh – Defense Ministry spokesman
The situation on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border and Karabakh-Azerbaijan Line of Contact is tense again after the fragile calm established as of February 21, Artsrun Hovhannisyan, a spokesman for the Armenian Defense Ministry, told Panorama.am.
He stressed that Azerbaijan is fully responsible for this situation. “We draw the mediatory organizations’ attention to this, noting that the Azerbaijani side has already suffered losses, and will continue suffering losses,” he said.
The ceasefire violations have multiplied after Saturday’s subversive attempt by the Azerbaijani forces which was thwarted by the Armenian side, Hovhannisyan added.
