Turkey again links normalization of relations with Armenia to Karabakh conflict
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan answered the questions of reporters at the airport, while departing to Saudi Arabia. Among other issues, he touched upon relations with Armenia, haberler.com reports.
He said Turkey will take no step to normalize relations with Armenia without the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
“Unless Armenia takes a step on the Karabakh issue, we will not open the border,” he said.
Erdogan added that during the talks with Putin, Hollande and Obama, they said they are dealing and will deal with the issue, but there is no result yet.
