Armenian chess players at European Championship
Armenia’s Gabriel Sargissian and Vladimir Akopian drew with Russia’s Ivan Popov and Etienne Bacrot of France respectively in Round 9 of the European Individual Chess Championship ongoing in Jerusalem. Sargissian is currently 8th with 6.5 points, while Akopian is 26th with 6 points.
