Azerbaijan continues ceasefire violations, makes infiltration attempts
Azerbaijani forces continue to violate the ceasefire along the Line of Contact with Nagorno-Karabakh. Meanwhile, Azerbaijani special units are making infiltration attempts, the press service of the Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Ministry reports.
Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire along the Line of Contact with Nagorno-Karabakh more than 80 times on March 5 and on the night of March 6, with over 4,500 shots fired towards the Armenian frontline positions from mortars, Instiglal, HAN-17, DShK, RPK and other types of guns.
Also, the enemy used ZIK-23-2 weapon in the northern direction (Shahumyan). The frontline units of the NKR Defense Army took measures to neutralize the weapon, as a result of which at least 3 Azerbaijani servicemen and the ZIK-23-2 weapon were rendered nonoperational.
In addition, the Karabakh armed forces took preemptive actions in the northeastern section of the Line of Contact. According to confirmed reports, 4 Azerbaijani servicemen were killed during the fighting.
The Armenian side reports no casualties.
