Hraparak: Oskanian may give up parliamentary mandate
Vartan Oskanian may renounce his parliamentary mandate in the near future, Hraparak reports.
According to the newspaper, he announced that he will give up his mandate and close the page of Prosperous Armenia in his life. He said he is disappointed with the party on which he spent 2.5 years of his life.
But different people tried to persuade him not to do so. The negotiations yielded results: so far he has only announced that he is leaving the party, and even wished success to the party’s new leader.
However, he has told his close circle that he has not yet given up the idea to renounce his parliamentary mandate, he has just temporarily suspended the issue, the newspaper adds.
