Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire along the Line of Contact with Nagorno-Karabakh about 1,000 times from March 1-7, with over 21,000 shots fired towards the Armenian frontline positions from weapons of various calibers, mortars and grenade launchers, the press service of the Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Ministry reported.

Also, the enemy used ZIK-23-2 weapon in the northern direction (Shahumyan). The frontline units of the NKR Defense Army took measures to neutralize the weapon, as a result of which at least 3 Azerbaijani servicemen and the ZIK-23-2 weapon were rendered nonoperational.

In addition, the Karabakh armed forces took preemptive actions in the northeastern section of the Line of Contact. According to confirmed reports, 4 Azerbaijani servicemen were killed during the fighting.

The Armenian side reports no casualties.

The Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army frontline units confidently perform their military tasks along the Line of Contact, and if necessary suppress the enemy’s activity.
