Armenian PM meets with Kuwaiti Emir
As part of his official visit to Kuwait, Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan on Wednesday met with Kuwait’s Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
The Prime Minister conveyed Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s invitation for Emir to pay an official visit to Yerevan, the Armenian government’s press office reported.
The Kuwaiti Emir said the visit of Hovik Abrahamyan to Kuwait will contribute to the further development of friendly ties. According to him, Kuwait is prepared to discuss all the issues which will serve the interests of the two countries and peoples, and is also ready to develop cooperation in the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian fields.
The sides underlined the importance of a peaceful resolution of conflicts and the need to maintain regional peace.
The Prime Minister thanked the Kuwaiti authorities for their caring attitude to the Armenian community.
