Strong explosion rocks Aleppo
Syria’s Aleppo was hit by a strong blast on Thursday, Perio News wrote on Facebook.
Mines, fired by the armed rebels, exploded near the Abdel Hamid al Zahrau college. Significant physical and material damage was reported.
The entire city was rocked by the blast that was equal to an earthquake. The Armenian-populated districts were also affected.
Clashes between the Syrian army and the armed rebels followed the explosions. They lasted several hours. Dozens of rebels were killed. The government forces prevented the rebels from penetrating into government-controlled regions.
