Hraparak: Turkish Christians to visit Armenia to apologize on behalf of their nation
Turkish Christians will visit Armenia from April 10-13, Hraparak reports. They are representatives of Protestant church in Istanbul and other Turkish cities. They are coming to apologize to the Armenian people on behalf of their nation for the events of 1915, assist in burning the bridges of hatred, and pray together.
The newspaper also says that the President of the World Council of Armenian Evangelical Churches is alongside the representatives of the Armenian Apostolic Church and Catholicoses in the Armenian Genocide Centenary Committee as an “act” of religious tolerance.
