Fourth Ordinary Session of Euronest PA kicks off in Yerevan
The Fourth Ordinary Session of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly (PA) officially opened at the Armenian National Assembly on Tuesday.
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan was present at the ceremony.
Armenian National Assembly Speaker Galust Sahakyan said in his opening remarks that this assembly must be viewed as an important platform for expansion of comprehensive cooperation between the European Union and Eastern Partners, not just as an instrument for bilateral cooperation with the EU.
He called on to show responsibility and draw maximum benefit of this assembly.
“I am confident that this assembly will play an important role in the fulfillment of the Eastern Partnership objectives and in bringing to life the Euronest ideas,” he noted.
