Criminal case opened over Armenian servicemen’s death
Armenia’s Investigation Committee has opened a criminal case in connection with the death of three Armenian servicemen, on charges of murder out of ethnic, racial or religious hatred, or religious fanaticism, the press service of the Investigation Committee reported.
At around 8:30 am today, an Azerbaijani special detachment launched an attack against the Nagorno-Karabakh military positions. Three servicemen of Karabakh Defense Army, Hakob Khachatryan, Eduard Hayrapetyan and Arshak Harutyunyan, were killed while repelling the enemy attack. Another four servicemen were wounded.
An investigation is underway.
