Two wounded Karabakh soldiers being transported to Yerevan
Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army servicemen Edgar Martirosyan and Sargis Grigoryan, wounded while repelling Thursday’s subversive raid by Azerbaijani forces, are now being transported to the Central Clinical Military Hospital in Yerevan, Aram Asaturyan, head of the hospital, told Panorama.am.
“Their condition is critical,” said the physician, adding that the two other wounded servicemen are in an extremely critical condition, and they remain in Artsakh.
At around 8:30 am on Thursday, an Azerbaijani special detachment launched an attack against Nagorno-Karabakh military positions located in the northern direction (Gyulistan). As a result of the military operation, which lasted for about two hours, the Armenian frontier troops and assisting forces made the enemy flee. The Armenian forces pursued the enemy, and completely destroyed the enemy’s detachment. Regrettably, three servicemen of Karabakh Defense Army, Hakob Khachatryan (born in 1996), Eduard Hayrapetyan (born in 1995) and Arshak Harutyunyan (born in 1995), were killed while repelling the enemy attack. Another four servicemen were wounded.
