Armenia’s Embassy in France is clarifying whether there were Armenian citizens on board the crashed Airbus A320, Tigran Balayan, a spokesman for the Armenian Foreign Ministry, wrote on Twitter. There is no information about it yet, he added.
An Airbus passenger jet carrying 150 people has crashed in the Digne area of southern France. The A320 – operated by Lufthansa subsidiary, Germanwings – was flying from Barcelona to Dusseldorf. French President Francois Hollande said he feared there would be no survivors.
