6th Pan-Armenian Games to feature 17 kinds of sports
The meeting of the organizing committee of the 6th Pan-Armenian Games was held on Wednesday, chaired by Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, the press service of Armenian government reports.
The opening ceremony of the Pan-Armenian Games, to be held from August 2 to 13, will take place at Hrazdan Stadium and Liberty Square will host the closing ceremony.
The 6th Pan-Armenian Games will feature 17 kinds of sports.
The competitions will be held in Yerevan, Gyumri, Vanadzor, Stepanakert, Artashat, Etchmiadzin and Abovyan.
So far, more than 2,690 athletes from different countries have submitted applications to participate in the 6th Pan-Armenian Games.
