No danger of flu epidemic in Armenia – Minister
There is no danger of flu epidemic in the country, Minister of Health Armen Muradyan told reporters after the cabinet meeting on Thursday.
He said that the cases of flu in Armenia exceeded the epidemiological norm by 1.5 times. The spring school vacation was extended for one week as most of the flu cases were registered among children of school age.
According to the Minister, the cases of flu declined as a result of the extension of school vacation.
Regarding kindergartens, Muradyan said that the situation is in the spotlight of Ministry’s attention. “Seven kindergartens have been temporarily closed,” he said.
