Positive changes observed in SCPEC activities - Ayvazyan
Positive changes are observed in the activities of the State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition (SCPEC), Vardan Ayvazyan, chairman of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Economic Affairs, said in the parliament on Thursday.
In his words, over the past years, many measures were taken to regulate the economic sector, strengthen the government policy in the area of competition and improve business environment in the country.
Ayvazyan stressed that the SCPEC must react adequately and swiftly in case of unlawful price increase in the country.
“The powers that were given to the Commission are sufficient for normal work,” Ayvazyan said, addressing SCPEC head Artak Shaboyan.
