Armenian Health Minister to attend Eastern Partnership conference on tuberculosis
At the invitation of the Latvian Minister of Health, Armenian Minister of Health Armen Muradyan headed to Riga to participate in the 1st Eastern Partnership Ministerial Conference on Tuberculosis and Multidrug Resistant Tuberculosis, the press service of Armenian Health Ministry reports.
The conference will be held as part of Latvia’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union. It is jointly organized by the Latvian Ministry of Health, WHO Regional Office for Europe, and Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
The conference aims to strengthen and coordinate cooperation in TB prevention and care, with a focus on vulnerable communities and transboundary transmission.
