Railway tank car with fuel for Ukrainian army explodes in Kharkiv
A railway tank car with fuels and lubricants has exploded at the Osnova train station in Kharkiv, the press service of the Kharkiv regional prosecutor’s office said on Monday, TASS reported.
"On March at around 00:30 an explosion of a railway tank car with fuels and lubricants occurred," the prosecutor’s office said, noting that "the diesel fuel was intended for the Ukrainian armed forces."
No fatalities have been reported.
"The explosion at the "Osnova" train station has been "defined as an act of subversion," the prosecutor’s office added.
Earlier, a series of explosions occurred in Odessa. An explosion that took place in a residential house last Monday has been defined as a terrorist attack. A powerful blast occurred in a volunteer center on Saturday. According to the Interior Ministry, the explosive device was placed on a window sill. However, no one was hurt.
