Armenian President attends National Academy of Sciences annual meeting
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan is attending the annual general meeting of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia that sums up the academy’s scientific activities in 2014.
Ministers, parliamentarians, foreign members of the National Academy of Sciences and rectors of universities are attending the meeting.
National Academy of Sciences President, Academician Radik Martirosyan presented the scientific activities of the academy in 2014. He specifically spoke about the Viktor Ambartsumian award ceremony and the election of new members of the academy.
Mr Martirosyan stressed that cooperation with scientific-technical centers of Russia, Belarus and the EU has intensified in recent years.
