Criminal case opened over Armenian serviceman’s killing
Armenia’s Investigation Committee has opened a criminal case over the killing of Armenian serviceman by Azerbaijani forces, the press service of Investigation Committee reports.
On April 7, at around 5:15pm, sergeant Levon Mirzoyan (born in 1995) suffered a gunshot wound from Azerbaijani fire, as a result of ethnic, racial or religious hatred, or religious fanaticism, on the defense position of a military unit, and died on the spot.
An investigation is underway.
