Armenian PM presents forget-me-nots to Kardashian sisters
Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan on Thursday received members of the Kardashian family, the press service of government reports.
The PM highlighted the importance of the Kardashian family’s contribution to the international recognition and condemnation of the Armenian Genocide and their visit to Armenia on the threshold of the Armenian Genocide centennial. He stressed that the Kardashian family do not forget their roots and by visiting their historical homeland make our country more recognizable.
The Kardashians said they are impressed by Armenia and warm attitude of the Armenian people. The guests noted that they intend to visit different historical sites in Armenia to familiarize with historical and cultural heritage and explore the homeland of their ancestors.
The Kardashian sisters said that visiting their homeland had been their dream for a long time and they are happy to be in the country of their dreams. They apologized for not being able to speak Armenian and noted that they are working to learn the mother tongue.
The Kardashians stressed that they will continue to actively fight for the international recognition and condemnation of the Armenian Genocide, and highlighted the importance of the unity of all Armenians in this issue.
At the end of the meeting, Hovik Abrahamyan presented forget-me-nots – a symbol of the Armenian Genocide centenary – to the Kardashian sisters.
