Charges brought against Founding Parliament members
Armenia’s Investigation Committee has brought charges against 5 members of the Founding Parliament opposition civil initiative who were arrested on suspicion of organizing mass disorders in Yerevan on April 24.
According to the Investigation Committee press service, Varuzhan Avetisyan, Pavel Manukyan, Gevorg Safaryan, Zhirayr Sefilyan and Garegin Chugaszyan have been charged under Article 35-225 part 1 of the Criminal Code of Armenia (organization of mass disorders).
Arrest was chosen as a measure of restraint against them. The investigation is going on.
