Iranian FM: Iran and Armenia maintain dynamically developing relations
Newly appointed Armenian ambassador to Iran handed the copy of his credentials to the IRI Foreign Minister, Iranian news agency IRNA reports.
According to the report, the newly appointed ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Iran, Artashes Tumanyan, handed the copy of his credentials to the Foreign Minister of Iran, Mohammad Javad Zarif, during their meeting. The Armenian ambassador said during the meeting that he will make more efforts to expand the bilateral economic relations during his tenure.
The ambassador Tumanyan welcomed Iran and P5+1 group’s joint statement in Lausanne regarding the principles of settling the nuclear issue.
Highlighting the deep cultural and historical ties between Armenia and Iran, the Foreign Minister of Iran said that Iran and Armenia maintain dynamically developing relations in various fields.
