Doctors Without Borders delivers 17 tons of medicaments to Yemen
Doctors Without Borders organization has sent a plane with humanitarian aid to Yemen, Sky News Arabia reported on Monday, TASS reported.
The plane has already landed in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa. It delivered 17 tons of medicaments to the country hit by a military crisis.
On April 11, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) delivered 32 tons of humanitarian aid to Sanaa, including medicaments, electric generators and tents. On April 10, ICRC delivered 16 tons of aid, including medicaments and surgical equipment.
ICRC spokesperson Claire Kaplun said the Red Cross is not planning to send additional humanitarian aid to Yemen in the nearest future.
